Our clinic is located in Suprabhat Sankul, which is part of the Dharampeth Extension area. If you know the SNG Basketball Ground, we are right near there. You can often hear the sound of the ball bouncing and kids shouting when the windows are open. Inside the clinic, it smells like herbs and oils most of the time. It is a smell that sticks to your clothes. We have shelves full of jars and small bottles that we use for the treatments. The space is simple, with a few wooden tables and some chairs for people to sit while they wait their turn. We spend a lot of time preparing the mixtures ourselves. It is slow work and your hands get stained sometimes. Many of the people who come here have been doing so for years. They like the quiet atmosphere of this part of Dharampeth. The building is older, so the stairs are a bit steep. We try to keep things tidy, but there’s always a bit of dust from the herbs we grind. It’s just me and a couple of helpers most days. We don't use much technology here, just the traditional ways we learned. Sometimes we run late because a consultation goes long, but nobody seems to mind much. We just sit and talk about what’s bothering them. It’s a steady, quiet life here at the clinic.
