Out here in Wadi, at the C/97 spot in the MIDC area, we’ve been working with herbs for a long time. If you drive down Central Road, you’ll find us easily enough. It’s an industrial area, so there’s always trucks moving around and a bit of dust in the air. We spend most of our mornings sorting through different leaves and roots that come in. The smell inside the building is quite strong, mostly earthy and sweet because of all the Ayurvedic ingredients we use. It’s not like a regular office; it’s more of a workshop where things actually get made. We have a small group of workers who have been with us since the early days. We don’t really do big advertising or anything like that. Most of the people we work with know us because we’ve been in this same building for years. The floor is concrete and the machines have their own quirks that only we really understand. Sometimes the power goes out or a delivery is late, and we just deal with it as it comes. We make various herbal products that people use for their health. It’s messy work sometimes, especially when we’re grinding things down, but it feels good to see the finished bottles lined up on the pallets. We’re just a regular business trying to get the work done right every day without making a big fuss about it. We stay busy and keep the floors swept as best as we can.
