Sattya General Stores

Sattya General Stores is located over on Plot No 19 along KDK College Road. We are right opposite that Maroshree Driving School, so there is always some noise from the cars and students walking around Nandanvan Colony. Being near a college means we get a lot of young people coming in for pens, notebooks, or just a quick snack between their classes. I have been running this shop in Nagpur for a good bit of time now. The space isn't very big, so things are stacked pretty high on the shelves. It gets a bit dusty with the traffic outside, but I do my best to wipe things down. I stock everything from washing powder to cold drinks. My morning starts by checking what ran out yesterday and calling the suppliers. It is a lot of work handling all the small coins and change all day long. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit, but we just carry on. It is a neighborhood spot where neighbors stop to talk for a minute about the weather or the local news while they wait for their bags to be filled. I don't have a big staff, it is mostly just me here. I think people like that they can find the basic things without having to go all the way to the main market. If you need a refill for your pen or some cooking oil, we usually have it sitting right there.
