Sahar Ice Cream

Our shop, Sahar Ice Cream, is right at Vardh Chowk, which is a fairly busy intersection. The best way to find us if you are new to the area is to look for the Fatha Bhi Masjid, as we are located quite near it. Being by the masjid means there are always people around, especially during prayer times. Vardh Chowk has a lot of energy, with people crossing the street and rickshaws zipping by all the time. We serve ice cream to the neighborhood and have been doing so for a good while. The shop isn't very big, so we mostly do over-the-counter sales. It can get pretty crowded on the sidewalk right in front of us during the hot summer evenings. We have to work fast when the rush starts so that people aren't waiting too long in the sun. The freezers hum all day long, and we spend a lot of time making sure they are stocked up. We know many of the families who live in the nearby streets, and it’s nice to see the kids growing up over the years. We don't use any fancy marketing or big signs, just the name of the shop above the door. It’s an honest day’s work for us. We open up, get the batches ready, and wait for the folks from the chowk to stop by for something cold. The noise of the traffic is just part of our daily life here.
