Our shop is right there in the Jindal Complex, which is very easy to spot because it is right beside the S T Bus Stand in Umred. Being so close to the bus stand means we get a lot of people passing by and peering through the window. It is a loud part of town with the buses honking and the crowds of travelers, but it keeps us feeling connected to everything. Inside, we have samples of different materials and photos of work we have finished for homes around Nagpur. It is usually a bit of a mess with wood chips or fabric swatches lying around. We don't mind the clutter because it shows we are actually working on something. When someone comes in, we usually clear off a chair and talk about what they want their room to look like. It is not a high-pressure environment at all. We just talk like normal people. Most of our clients are locals from the Umred area or people who come into the city for business. We’ve seen the complex change over time as different neighbors move in and out. It is a good spot for us because everyone knows where the bus stand is. We just focus on putting together kitchens or cupboards that work for real families. It is practical work and we enjoy seeing a project come together from a few sketches on a piece of paper to a finished room.
