Rengakhar Farmer Producer Company Limited

Rengakhar Farmer Producer Company Limited is located right here in our village. We operate from the house of Divya Dhurve, who is married to Rajesh Dhurve. We are in Rengakhar, which is usually a quiet place, but it gets much busier during the planting and harvest seasons. Our office is just one room in the house where we manage the company files and talk to the farmers. There isn't a front desk or a lobby for people to wait in. Usually, someone just walks up to the door and sees if we are available to chat. Divya handles the organization while the real work happens in the fields. It is a small setup that keeps us occupied from the time the sun comes up until it goes down. Sometimes we lose power and have to finish the paperwork by a small lamp, but that is common here. The walls are just painted a simple color and the floor is plain. We talk about the rain and the weather more than anything else because that is what matters for the crops. It is an honest way to live, working with neighbors we have known our whole lives. We don't use complicated language or have fancy presentations. We just decide what needs to be done for the month and then we get to work. It’s the way things have always been done here and we are glad to be part of it.
