Raman

Raman is just a small setup here in Nagpur, specifically in the 440008 zip code. We don't even have a long, complicated name like some of the other places. It's just Raman. I think people like that it’s simple. We operate out of a modest space. It’s not the kind of place with a big lobby or a water cooler. We just have chairs and a lot of books. My days are mostly spent explaining the same concepts over and over until they click for someone. It’s rewarding in its own way, even if it isn't glamorous. Nagpur has a lot of these small tutoring spots, and we’re just one of them. We don't spend money on radio ads or anything. Usually, a parent just stops by because they live down the street and heard we help kids with their schoolwork. It’s a very local vibe. We know the names of the kids and their parents. Sometimes we even know their grandparents. That’s the benefit of staying small in a city like this. We don't have a philosophy or anything like that. We just show up, teach, and hope the students do well in their exams. It’s just us, doing what we know how to do, right here in 440008. We keep the place clean and the students busy, and that’s pretty much the whole story of what happens here every single day.
