Rajshri Shahu Farmer Producer Company Limited

We operate out of the Vidharbha Housing Society, specifically at 1Ar/755. It is a bit different being based in a housing society, but it works for us. We are a group of farmers who came together to form this company because we were tired of getting the short end of the stick. Most of us have been farming our whole lives and we know how difficult it can be to make a decent profit. By working together under the Rajshri Shahu name, we can buy things like fertilizer in bulk and get better deals. Our meetings are pretty straightforward. We sit down, look at what we have got, and decide where it should go. There is no corporate talk here, just plain English and our local way of speaking. We talk about the crops, the soil, and the water situation. Some days are better than others. When the harvest is good, everyone is happy, but when things go wrong, we have to support each other. We handle the paperwork at our Vidharbha office, which is always a bit of a mess with files and receipts. It is just how we work. We do not have a receptionist or anything like that. If the phone rings, whoever is closest to it picks it up. We are just a group of regular guys trying to make the most of what we have. It is a local effort, and we plan to keep it that way, focusing on what is best for the farmers.
