Our shop is Number 15 in Building 7 at the P.T. Jawaharlal Nehru Market Yard in Kalamna. If you have ever been to the market yard, you know it is a loud, crowded, and busy place. That is exactly where Rajesh Trading Company fits in. We are right in the thick of it. Every morning starts early, long before the sun is even up, because that is when the trucks start rolling in. We trade in all sorts of things, mostly whatever is in season and coming through the gates. It is a lot of haggling and checking the quality of the goods. You have to have a sharp eye in Kalamna or you will get left behind. Our shop isn't big. It is mostly packed with bags and boxes, with just a tiny space for us to sit and have a cup of chai. We know all the other traders in Building 7. We have been here long enough that we feel like part of the furniture. We do not use any fancy software to track things, mostly just notebooks and memory. It works for us. The air is always full of the smell of spices or grain or whatever is being traded that day. It is a tough environment, but it is honest. We do not make any big promises, we just trade fairly and keep our word. That is how you survive in a place like the Kalamna market yard.
