Vashist Traders

Our warehouse, Vashist Traders, is at Plot No. 52 in the Somnath Estate. It’s right behind Amba Estate and near the Vinzol Char Rasta in Vatva. If you know the area, you know it’s mostly industrial and gets quite dusty when the trucks are moving. We spend our days loading and unloading, moving pallets around, and keeping track of what is in stock. The sun can be really hot on the metal roof during the summer, so we try to get most of the heavy lifting done early in the morning. We aren't a big fancy operation. It’s a lot of concrete, metal racks, and the smell of diesel from the trucks. We’ve been in Vatva for a while now and we know the other business owners around the estate quite well. We often help each other out if a forklift breaks down or if someone needs an extra hand. It’s a practical kind of place. We don't use big words to describe what we do. We just buy things, store them, and sell them to people who need them. It is simple enough but requires a lot of attention to detail so we don't lose anything in the stacks. Sometimes the paperwork gets behind, but we eventually catch up on the weekends. It’s a gritty job, but we like the honesty of it. Being near Ramol Char Rasta makes it easy for the drivers to find us.
