Railway Ticketwala

Our place is called Railway Ticketwala and we are located in the Ganguban Complex on Umre Road. We are right in the Sakkardara area of Nagpur, specifically opposite the Allahabad Bank. The name pretty much tells you what we do here. We focus on getting train tickets sorted out for whoever needs them. It is a straightforward business because people usually know exactly what they want when they walk in. They have a date and a destination, and we try to find them a seat. The complex is a busy spot, and being across from the bank means there are always people around. Our office isn't anything special to look at, just a place with computers where we can access the booking systems. Sometimes it's a real struggle to find tickets during the festival seasons, but we do what we can. It’s mostly just us sitting here and checking the screen while people wait. We have a few benches for customers and a lot of paper everywhere. It’s a bit of a messy, lived-in office, but it works for us. We have been in Sakkardara for a while now and most of the locals know where to find us when they need to plan a rail journey. We don't make it complicated. You come in, tell us where you're going, and we see what we can do on the computer. I usually keep a glass of water on the desk because talking to people all day makes my throat dry. It is just a normal day here.
