Prashant Kumars English Acadamy

My name is Prashant Kumar and I run this English academy from Plot No 06 in New Bidipeth. It’s right on Bidipeth Road in the Dattatray Nagar area, very close to the Madhuban Appartment building. I noticed that a lot of people around here want to speak better English but they find the big schools too intimidating or expensive. So, I opened this place up. It’s a simple setup with a few tables and chairs. We spend most of our time going over grammar and just practicing how to talk to people. I’m not a big fan of those fancy language labs; I think just talking and listening works better. The neighborhood is mostly families and small shops, so it stays pretty busy during the day. Sometimes the noise from the road comes in, but we just talk louder. It’s a very local thing, and I usually know everyone who comes through the door. I’ve lived in Nagpur for a long time and I know how important English has become for getting a decent job these days. We don't promise anything impossible, just that we will work on it together. Some days are better than others, and sometimes the fans make more noise than the students. But we keep at it because people need the help. If you find the Madhuban building, you’re basically there. It’s just a regular house turned into a place for learning. There is no corporate polish here, just honest work.
