Prashant Daily Needs

We are tucked away at Plot No-289 in Dakshinamurti Gali, right in the Mahal area of Nagpur. If you know where the New English High School is, we are just behind it near the Dakshinamuri Murti Chowk. It’s a busy little corner of the city. We call the shop Prashant Daily Needs because that’s exactly what we provide—the things people need every day. You can find milk, bread, eggs, and all the usual pantry staples here. The building is a bit old, and the street is quite narrow, so it can get a bit loud with the traffic and school kids nearby. We’ve been in this spot for a good while now. Most of our customers are the families living in the nearby lanes or parents dropping their kids off at the school. We don't do anything special with the decor; it’s just shelves filled with goods. Sometimes we run out of change, which can be a bit of a pain, but we usually figure it out. It’s a simple life running a shop like this. We open up quite early so people can get their milk before work. It’s a lot of standing around and waiting for customers, but we stay busy enough to keep the doors open. We just try to keep the basics available for everyone in the Mahal area.
