Prajakta A Kaduskar

I am working out of the Indu Bhaskar Apartment in the Dhandoli area of Nagpur. It is a quiet residential spot but that makes it much easier to focus on the daily tasks. My office is basically just a room here with some wooden tables and a couple of chairs for visitors. The zip code is 440008 and most locals know the name of the building. I have been here for some time now and it really feels like home. Nagpur has its own pace and Dhandoli is no different from the rest of the city. You see people going about their business every morning while the sun comes up. I usually arrive around nine and stay until the evening when it gets dark. The apartment is not very large but there is enough space for what I do. Sometimes the lift acts up so I have to take the stairs instead. It is good exercise for me anyway. People come by to drop off papers or just to talk about things they need help with. I keep a small diary to note down everything so I do not forget the details. It is a simple way of living and working. No big corporate vibe exists here at all. Just a regular person doing their job in a regular apartment building. The light comes in nicely through the window in the afternoon. I like to keep things tidy but sometimes the papers pile up.
