Nagpur can get incredibly hot, as everyone knows, so we usually try to get our most important work done early in the morning. We are a small group of folks who are into farming and trying to make the business side of it work. Our office is just a simple building in Wadi. It’s nothing to write home about, but it’s where we keep all our files and meet with the farmers from around the district. We don't have a fancy website or a bunch of slogans. We just talk to people, see what they are growing, and figure out the logistics. Sometimes we are out on the roads for hours, checking on crops or meeting suppliers. It’s a lot of manual work and coordination. We have a few desks and some chairs, and there is usually a pot of tea going. We aren't corporate types in suits. Most of the time, we are just in our regular clothes, dealing with the dust and the heat. It’s a very grounded way of living. We just want to help the farmers in our area get a bit more for their hard work. It’s not complicated, it’s just how we live and work here in Nagpur.
