Padmini Travels

Our shop is located on Ghat Road, right on the Railway Station Road stretch in Nagpur. The easiest way to find us is to look for Vijay Talkies, because we are situated directly opposite that old cinema hall. When a big movie releases, the whole street gets packed with people and the noise is something else. We sit here at Padmini Travels and watch the crowds go by while we handle the day's tasks. The shop itself is quite small, just enough room for a couple of us to sit comfortably and a bench for anyone waiting. We have a lot of calendars on the wall and a big map of the region that we use to check distances. The dust from the road is a constant battle, so we are always wiping down the glass counter. Being so close to the railway station means there is always a sense of hurry in the air outside. We started here years ago and haven't really felt the need to move elsewhere. The building is simple and the rent is manageable, which is what matters for a small business like ours. We have a small radio that we play at a low volume to keep the background noise from getting too annoying. Most of our day is spent talking to people about their plans and making sure the ledgers are updated by the time we close the shutters for the night.
