Pacheriwala Sarees

You can find Pacheriwala Sarees on Kelibag Road, right by Badkas Chowk. We are near the Mata Mandir in the Mangalwari Mahal area. This part of the city has so much history, and our shop feels like it’s been here forever. The streets are narrow and crowded, but that’s the charm of Mahal. We sell sarees, mostly the kinds that people around here have worn for generations. The shop is full of bundles of fabric. Sometimes it feels a bit cramped, but it’s cozy. I know where every single piece is kept. My father taught me the trade, and I’ve stayed with it. We don't spend money on big advertisements or fancy displays. People know us because they’ve been coming here for years, or their mothers came here. The noise from Badkas Chowk is always in the background—horns honking and people shouting. Inside, we just focus on the cloth. I like feeling the different textures of the silk and cotton. It’s a lot of work to manage the stock and keep everything clean with all the dust from the street, but we manage. We open early and stay late most days. It’s a simple life, running a saree shop in Mangalwari, but it’s what we know. If you’re near the Mata Mandir, you’ll see us there on Kelibag Road, just doing our daily work. It stays busy enough for us and we like being here.
