Omkar General Store

Omkar General Store is tucked away at Shop No 28 on Badkas Square Road in the Mahal area of Nagpur. We are quite close to Ayachit Mandir, which is a big landmark for anyone who lives around here. Mahal is an old part of the city, so the streets can be a bit narrow and crowded, but that is part of the charm I guess. The pin code is 440032 if you are looking for it on a map. Our shop is just a regular place where neighbors come to pick up their daily needs. We have been here for a good amount of time, seeing families grow up and the neighborhood change little by little. Every morning, I open up and sweep the front while the city starts to wake up. The bells from the mandir nearby often provide a background sound to our day. It is a humble business, nothing like those big supermarkets you see these days. We know most of our customers by face and they know they can find us here on Badkas Square Road. There isn't much to say other than we are a local shop trying to be useful to the people in Mahal. We don’t have any polished speeches about what we do. We just sell things people need and try to be decent to everyone who stops by.
