Nb Farmers Producer Company Limited is a local group we started right here in Ramtek. Our main point of contact is over at Yogesh Nilkanthrao Kurve’s place on Ambada Road. It’s a quiet area, which is nice for getting things done without too much distraction. We are basically just a group of people from the area who decided to work together on the farming side of things. Most of us have lived in or around Ramtek all our lives. We know the soil and we know how hard it is to get things to market sometimes. Starting this company was a way to stay organized. We don't have a big fancy office with glass walls. It’s more of a practical setup where we can sit down and talk about the crops and the prices. Everyone knows everyone around here. We spend a lot of time out on the roads or talking to the other farmers in the village. There’s always a lot of paperwork with these types of companies, and we try our best to keep up with it. It’s not always perfect, and sometimes we run behind schedule, but the work gets done. We aren't trying to be anything we’re not. We are just local people trying to make a living and help out where we can. It’s a simple life, but it’s ours. We usually have people dropping by to chat about the harvest or just to share some local news.
