M/S Samria & Co, Chartered Accountants

Rakesh Totla runs the office here at M/S Samria & Co. We are located at 402 Nilgiri Apartment on Central Avenue. It’s right across from the old Gitanjali Cinema, which everyone in Nagpur knows. Being on Central Avenue means it gets pretty busy outside with all the traffic and noise. But inside the office, it’s mostly just the sound of typing and calculators. We deal with all the usual CA work like taxes and bookkeeping. The office is on the fourth floor, so you have to take the lift up. It's a practical space. We’ve been in this building for some time now. We aren't a corporate giant; we are just a team of accountants doing our jobs. The area around Nagpur - 44 00 18 is quite active. We see a lot of different people coming in with their accounts. Some are small shop owners from around Central Avenue, and others come from further away. We don't have a marketing department or anything like that. People usually find us because they know Rakesh or heard about the firm from a friend. We keep things simple and try to get the filings done on time. It is a lot of hard work, especially when the deadlines are close. We just try to stay focused and get through the pile of papers on our desks every day. It is how we spend our weeks and keep the business going.
