Shravani Mashroom & Honey Farm

Our place is at Plot No. 8 in the Mahalaxmi Society, right on Beltarodi Road. It is near the Sanjeevani Hospital in Manish Nagar, so it is easy enough to find if you are in that part of town. Shravani Mashroom & Honey Farm is basically just us working with what nature gives. The mushroom side of things is a bit finicky because they need just the right amount of dampness and shade. We spend a lot of time checking on the bags and making sure the temperature isn't too high. Then there is the honey. Dealing with bees is always an adventure, and we have to be careful. We get some stings now and then, but that is part of the job. It is a small setup here in the society. We aren't some massive factory. It is more of a home-grown operation where we do most of the packing and sorting ourselves. The smell of the earth and the sweet honey is always around. We don't have a big marketing team or fancy labels. We just want to get the honey and mushrooms to the people who want them. It is hard work and the hours are long, especially when the mushrooms start growing fast. We just keep our heads down and stay busy with the chores every day. It is a good way to live, even if it is a bit messy sometimes.
