Mahatma Travels is tucked away in Sitabuldi, right behind Janaki Cinema. It’s a well-known spot in Nagpur 440012. We’ve been operating from this location for quite some time now. The office is a bit hidden if you don’t know where to look, but being behind the cinema makes it a bit quieter than the main road. We handle all sorts of travel requests here, from local car hires to longer trips out of town. It’s just a basic office with a few desks and some files piled up on the shelves. We don’t use any fancy systems, just our ledgers and the phone. Most of our customers are locals who have been coming to us for years. We know most of them by name and they know us. It’s a family business, and we take turns being at the desk to answer the phone. The area around Janaki Cinema is always busy, but our little corner stays okay. We spend our time checking routes and making sure the drivers know where they are going for the day. We don’t have a big marketing budget or anything like that. We just rely on people knowing where we are and coming back again. If you walk past the cinema, you will find our sign. We try to be helpful and straightforward with everyone who comes in. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do.
