M. T. Bag House

M. T. Bag House is situated right near Cp Berar College. We are at Tulsi Bagh Chowk, which is in the Mahal area. It’s a great spot because there are always students and people from the college walking by. Being near Cp Berar College means we get to see a lot of activity throughout the day. Tulsi Bagh Chowk is a busy intersection, so there is never a dull moment. We have bags of all sorts piled up inside. It’s a bit of a squeeze sometimes when customers come in, but we manage. We’ve got school bags, travel bags, and everything in between. Most of our day is spent unfolding things to show people and then folding them back up again. The shop isn't very large, but we make the most of the space we have. We even hang some things from the ceiling to show them off. It’s a bit dusty because of the road right outside, but we try to keep things clean. Working in Mahal feels like being in the heart of the old city. There is so much history around here, and the streets are narrow and full of character. We enjoy the banter with the regular passersby and the students who come in looking for something sturdy for their books. It’s a simple business, but it keeps us busy and we like the neighborhood.
