Abhinav Arts is located at Kamal Niwas which is actually D. S. Salunke's house in Laxmi Nagar. It is T-13 and you can find it pretty easily if you are near the Scientific Lawn. We have been making bags here for quite some time. The house is always full of different fabrics and threads. You will see rolls of material leaning against the walls and sewing machines taking up most of the space. We are manufacturers and suppliers so things are always moving in and out of the front door. It is a busy place especially when a big order comes in and we have to get everything stitched and packed. We are not a big factory with hundreds of workers. It is more of a local setup where everyone knows each other. The neighborhood is mostly residential so we try not to make too much noise late at night with the machines. There are often bags piled up in the corner waiting to be picked up by the delivery guys. We don't really have a showroom or a place to display everything nicely. It is just a workspace where the actual making happens. Sometimes the kids from the neighborhood stop by to look at the colorful scraps we leave outside. It is just a normal day-to-day business running out of a home. There is always a lot of tea being made to keep everyone going through the afternoon stretch.
