Maha Bags Printing Works

We are tucked away in Naik Gali, right on Dharaskar Road in the Itwari area. It’s a very old part of town, very busy with wholesale traders and lots of noise. Our work is mainly about printing on bags. We handle those cloth bags, plastic ones, and sometimes paper ones too. People bring in their logos or whatever they want printed for their shops or events. It’s a messy job sometimes with the inks and the screens, but we’ve been doing it a long time. The shop is more of a workshop really. There are stacks of bags everywhere you look. Itwari is always crowded, so getting supplies in and finished orders out can be a bit of a headache with the narrow lanes. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. People just hear about us from other shopkeepers. We sit here, do the printing, wait for the ink to dry, and then pack them up. It’s simple, manual labor. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait, or the rain makes things difficult, but that's life here. We just focus on getting the print clear and the count right. If you’re walking down Dharaskar Road, you’ll probably hear the machines or see us moving bundles around. It’s just a regular local printing spot, nothing fancy or corporate about it at all. It is just what we know how to do here.
