Maa Vaishnavi General & Saundarya Collection

We are located inside the Itwari Tilak Shopping Centre over in Umred. It is a busy little spot in Nagpur. The shop is a mix of general items and things for beauty and makeup. We named it Maa Vaishnavi General & Saundarya Collection because we wanted to cover both sides of what people look for. Some days it is just people buying soap or notebooks, other days it is girls looking for something nice for a wedding or a festival. It gets crowded inside the shopping centre, especially on weekends when everyone has time off. We have a lot of shelves and sometimes it feels like we are running out of room for all the new stock that comes in. My family helps out a lot here. It is not a very big space, but we make it work. The lights can be a bit bright, but you need that to see the colors of the makeup properly. We try to keep things tidy, but with so many small items, it takes effort. People from around Umred know we are here. We just sit here, talk to the customers, and see what they need. It is a simple way to spend the day. Sometimes we have tea while waiting for the next person to come in. That’s how it is. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons but we stay open regardless.
