Maa Shanti Kirana Stores

Maa Shanti Kirana Stores is our small shop located near Sainath School in the Balajai Nagar area. We are right there in Dnyaneshwar Nagar, Rameshwari. I started this place because the neighborhood needed a spot to grab daily things without going too far. It is not a very big store, and sometimes it gets a bit cramped when we have a lot of bags of rice or sugar delivered at once. We keep the basic things like lentils, cooking oil, some spices, and snacks for the kids who come by after school lets out. Being so close to the school, we see a lot of families every day. It is a nice way to spend the time, talking to the parents and seeing the children grow up over the years. The shop is quite simple. We don’t have fancy shelves or bright signs. Most of the time, I am behind the counter myself, or maybe my son helps out when he is around. We don't have a computer for bills, just a simple pad and pen. Sometimes the fan makes a bit of a squeaking noise, but it keeps the place cool enough in the summer heat. We aren't trying to be a big supermarket or anything. We just want to make sure the people in Rameshwari can get their groceries easily. If you are walking near Sainath School, you will likely see us there. We open early and stay until the evening.
