Laxmi Kirana & General

Laxmi Kirana & General is located at Shop No 4 on Old Bhandara Road in the Hansapuri area of Nagpur. We are pretty easy to find because we are near the famous Gupta Gulab Jamun place. Everyone in 440018 knows that spot. Our shop is just a regular kirana store where we sell grains, pulses, and other household necessities. It is a bit of an old-fashioned way of doing things, but it works for us. The building is older and the shop isn't very big, but we keep it well-stocked. Nagpur can get incredibly hot, so the afternoons are usually quiet while people stay indoors. Things pick up again in the evening when the sun goes down. We spend our time weighing out items and chatting with the neighbors. It is a simple routine. We don't use any fancy computer systems for everything; a lot of it is just done by hand. The traffic on Old Bhandara Road is constant, so there is always a bit of noise in the background. We have been in Hansapuri for quite a while now. Most of our customers are people who live just a few streets away. It’s a steady job and we like the people we meet every day. We aren't trying to be a supermarket. We are just a local shop serving our part of the city and making sure people have what they need.
