Our shop is the Laxmi Kirana And General Store. You can find us on the Main Road here in Nagpur. The pin code is 440008. We handle a lot of different things, from groceries to small household items. It’s a standard kirana store like any other in this part of town. We’ve been at this location for a long time. It gets very busy during the festival seasons when everyone is buying supplies for their homes. We try to stay stocked up but sometimes we run out of the popular items faster than we expect. The shop isn't very large, so we have boxes stacked up in the back. It’s a bit of a squeeze when more than three people are inside. We know the people around here well. They stop in for a packet of biscuits or some tea leaves and stay to talk for a minute. It’s a community thing more than just a business. We don't spend money on fancy signs or lights. The old sign works just fine for us. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to use candles or a torch to find things for customers. That’s just part of life in Nagpur. We open the shutters early in the morning and close them late at night. It’s a lot of hours, but we are used to it by now. There isn't much else to tell about our 1, Main Road location.
