Lakshmi Industries

Lakshmi Industries is located at 46, B. No. 58 on Station Road. Being near the station means there is always a lot of movement and noise outside. We’ve been in this building for quite a long time. The walls are a bit faded and the floors show the years of work we've done here. We do a lot of small-scale manufacturing and assembly. It’s a very hands-on environment. There is no air conditioning in the main work area, just some big fans that we keep running during the summer. We have a small office near the front where we keep the books and take orders. It’s usually cluttered with samples and order forms. We aren't a high-tech facility with robots. It’s mostly just people working with their hands and some old-fashioned machinery. We start early in the morning when the first trains begin to rattle past. It’s a steady pace of work. We don't have a website or do any fancy advertising. Most of our customers have been coming to us for years because they know where we are on Station Road. We just keep our heads down and get the orders out on time. It’s a simple, honest business and we don't feel the need to dress it up. When the weather is good, we leave the front door open to catch a breeze, even if it brings in the street noise.
