Kunal Tea Provision

Out here in Nagpur, on Nandanvan Main Road, we run Kunal Tea Provision. We are located in the Safalya Building, specifically at Shop Number 137. It’s right across from Shrawan Hospital, which means we see a lot of people coming and going at all hours. The Nagpur heat can be pretty intense, so the shop usually feels like a bit of a relief when you step inside out of the sun. We focus on tea and the things that go with it. There are big sacks of different tea leaves sitting around, and the air always has that dry, leafy scent. We also keep some other provisions because people in the Nandanvan Colony need more than just tea. The shop isn't very wide, so we’ve had to build the shelves all the way up to the ceiling. I use a small ladder to reach the stuff at the top. Sometimes I worry the whole thing might tip over, but it’s held up so far. The counter is narrow and there’s barely enough room for two people to stand side by side. We see a lot of nurses and doctors from the hospital across the street coming in for a quick break. It’s a busy little corner of the city. We don't do anything special, just keep the jars full and wait for the next person to walk through the door.
