You can find Krishimitra Shetkari Producer Company Limited at Shop Number 17 on the ground floor of the Nagar Parishad complex in Katol. We are right near the police station, so it is a pretty central spot for us. We aren't a big corporation. We are just a group of farmers from the Katol area who needed a place to organize our work. The shop is where we handle the administrative things, but our real life is out in the fields. We started this because doing everything solo was getting too difficult and expensive. Being at the Nagar Parishad complex makes it easy for other local farmers to stop by and talk. We don't have any fancy sales pitches. We just talk about the practical side of farming, like where to get seeds or how to handle pests. It gets noisy and busy in the shop during the peak seasons. We are just regular people trying to figure out the best way to move our produce to the buyers. We don't have any polished marketing materials. Most of the time, we are just dressed in our work clothes and trying to keep the records straight. It’s a lot of responsibility and we make mistakes sometimes, but we are learning as we go. We just want to make sure the farming community here in Katol has a bit more support. If you are near the station, you can usually find one of us there.
