Krishi Unnati Farmer Producer Companylimited is based at House No 23 in the Kolhe Layout. This is along Dharwha Road in Wadgaon. We’ve been here for some time now, and the layout is a good place for us. It’s easy to get to from the main road. The name "Unnati" means progress, and that’s what we try to focus on, even if it’s just small steps every day. Our office is a simple house. We haven’t done much to it besides putting in some desks and shelving for all the records we have to keep. Wadgaon is a place where people know each other, so we get a lot of walk-ins. People just drop by to say hello or to ask about the latest agriculture news. We drink a lot of chai and talk about the challenges of farming in this part of the country. Dharwha Road always has something going on, so it never feels too lonely out here. We don't use any fancy management techniques. We just talk to people, listen to what they need, and try to find a way to make it happen through our producer company. It’s hard work and the hours can be long, especially when the weather isn't behaving, but seeing a farmer have a better season because of something we did makes it worth the effort. We keep our doors open and our heads down.
