Khamla General Store

Khamla General Store is over in the Khamla area of Nagpur, right at 1, New Khamla Medical Store. If you know the neighborhood, you know it gets pretty warm in the afternoons, so we usually have the fan going full blast. The shop is a practical place. We keep the daily essentials on the shelves because that’s what people around here are looking for. We’ve been at this address, 440008, for a while now and most of the faces coming through the door are familiar. It’s a lot of work keeping track of everything, from the small packets to the larger bags. Sometimes the floor gets a bit dusty with all the people walking in from the street, but we try to sweep up when there is a quiet moment. We aren't doing anything fancy here. It's just a regular store where you can grab what you need without a fuss. The medical store part is right there too, so it’s a bit of a hub for the local residents. We spend our days checking the inventory and making sure we didn't forget to order something important. It can get a bit crowded in the evenings when everyone is finishing work and stopping by on their way home. We just try to keep things moving and make sure everyone gets what they came for. It’s a decent living and we appreciate the neighbors who stop by.
