Kgsk Farmers Producer Company Limited

Our small group is based out of the Civil Lines area, right near GPO Square. If you know Palm Road, you’ve probably passed by 206 8 at some point. It’s a bit of a busy spot compared to the actual farms, but it works for us. We are the Kgsk Farmers Producer Company Limited. We spend most of our time out where the planting happens, but this office is where we handle the side of things that isn't dirt and tractors. It's a simple setup. We don't have a lot of fancy furniture or anything like that. Just some desks and a lot of lists. Farmers from around here come by to check in or drop off notes about their yields. Being near the GPO makes it easy for mail and getting things sorted. We aren't professional office workers; we're just people who know the land. Sometimes it’s a bit loud with the traffic outside on Palm Road, but it’s a central place for everyone to meet up and talk. We started this because we needed a way to pull our resources together. It helps with getting some better prices on supplies and sharing the heavy load. If you're looking for us, we're usually around during the day, unless it's a big planting week and everyone is gone. It’s just us trying to keep the farming business moving along in this part of town. Not much more to it than that. We just do what needs doing.
