If you're looking for us, we’re based in Check Thanewasna in the Gondpipri area. The paperwork and the main office are handled at Nilakantha G Pimaplasheande’s place. It’s a collective of local farmers who decided that we should probably start working together instead of competing all the time. Gondpipri is a bit out of the way, so it makes sense for us to bundle our produce and supplies. It saves on transport and gives us a bit more power when it comes to talking to buyers. We aren't a big corporation with a lot of money. We are just a group of people who know how to grow things and want to make sure we can keep doing it for years to come. Most of our days are spent out on our own farms, but we meet up regularly to discuss what the company needs to do next. It might be buying a new piece of equipment that we can all share or figuring out a better way to store the grain. It’s a very practical arrangement. We don’t have any marketing people or a sales team. We just talk to the people we’ve known for years. It is a bit slow sometimes, and the bureaucracy can be a headache, but we get by.
