Kartar Cambine

Kartar Cambine is over at Shop No. 206 in the Gayatri Tower. This is in the Itwari area, specifically near Lakad Ganj, which is a very busy commercial part of the city. Our shop is on one of the upper floors, so we spend a lot of time going up and down. We deal with parts for combines and other machinery. The shop is packed from floor to ceiling with boxes and spare parts. It’s a bit of a squeeze to move around in there, but we know exactly where every bolt and belt is kept. We don’t have a fancy display or any bright lights. Most of our customers are farmers or mechanics who know exactly what they are looking for. They come from all over the Lakad Ganj area. The building itself is always full of people and the sounds of other businesses. We have a small counter where we sit and talk to anyone who comes in. Sometimes we have tea with the people from the neighboring shops in Gayatri Tower while things are slow. We don’t have a big website or do any fancy advertising. Word of mouth is how most people find us. It is a simple operation and we just try to keep the parts in stock so no one has to wait too long. It is a steady job and we have been doing it this way for many years.
