K G M Krishna Store

K G M Krishna Store is situated right on the Hasandag Ring Road in Nagpur, very close to the Masjid. This makes it a very convenient spot for people who are passing through or coming from prayers. The shop is a basic kirana store where we sell the usual daily necessities. We have things like pulses, sugar, flour, and a variety of soaps and oils. Because we are on the ring road, the sound of trucks and cars is something we hear all day and night. The shop is fairly deep, and we use the back area to store the extra bags of grain. I spend most of my time behind the counter, weighing out goods and chatting with the locals. Since the Masjid is right there, the shop gets very crowded at certain times of the day. We don't have any modern checkout systems, just a simple way of doing things that has worked for us for a long time. The lighting is a bit dim towards the back of the store, but we know where everything is. Nagpur gets very hot, so we keep plenty of cold water and soda in the small fridge we have. It’s just a regular, hardworking shop that serves the community. We don't try to be anything we aren't. It’s a steady life, and I enjoy seeing the familiar faces of the people who live nearby.
