Jadhav Switchgear Services

Our place is at 004, Ramkrishna Apts. 214 Gokulpeth. It is on the ground floor, which makes it easier for moving the heavy gear in and out, but it still feels more like a home than an office. We have converted the main rooms into a workspace for Jadhav Switchgear Services. There are parts and components sitting on almost every flat surface, including the kitchen counter sometimes. Gokulpeth is a nice enough area, though it gets a bit crowded during the market hours. We usually start the day early with a cup of coffee while looking at the schedule. A lot of our work involves testing the switchgear and making sure the settings are right. It’s quiet work mostly, punctuated by the sound of tools or the phone ringing. We don’t have a fancy showroom. Most people who come by are technicians or contractors who already know what they are looking for. The apartment building is older, so the walls are thick, which is good for keeping the heat out during the afternoons. Sometimes the neighbors pop in just to say hello or ask for a bit of help with a fuse. We have a small team here, just a couple of us really, and we prefer it that way. It keeps things simple and we know exactly where everything is kept. It’s been our home base for quite a few years now and it suits us.
