Anil Corner Shop

Anil Corner Shop is right there in Loha Oli, which is a part of Itwari that most locals know well. It’s a very old part of town and the streets are quite narrow, so it can get a bit cramped when the delivery trucks try to get through. We’ve been at this spot for a long time now. It’s just a small corner shop where we sell all sorts of things that people in the neighborhood need. You’ll find us there from early in the morning until late in the evening. There is always someone coming in for something small, maybe a bit of hardware or some household items. We don't have a big website or anything like that because most of our customers just walk over from their houses or shops nearby. The shop itself is packed with stuff from floor to ceiling, and sometimes it takes me a minute to find exactly what someone is looking for. Itwari is a loud place with lots of shouting and horns honking, but we are used to it by now. My family has spent many years behind this counter, talking to the same neighbors every day. We don't try to be anything we aren't; we are just a local shop trying to make a living and help out the people who live around Loha Oli. It's a simple life, but it keeps us busy and connected to the community here. We usually have a pot of tea going in the back for visitors.
