Ishika Provision

If you live around Garoba Maidan in Nagpur, you probably know the area near the Hanuman Mandir. That is where we have Ishika Provision set up at Plot No442. We are pretty close to Santaji Hall, so it stays fairly active around here. The shop is full of the usual things you’d expect to find in a local provision store. We spend a lot of our time just unpacking boxes and making sure the grains, soaps, and snacks are where they belong. It’s a neighborhood shop, so we know a lot of the people who come in by their first names. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded in the evenings when everyone is getting home from work. We don't try to be anything more than a basic corner store where you can grab what you forgot for dinner. The building isn't new, but it works for what we need. Dealing with suppliers and keeping track of what’s running low takes up most of the day. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until we close up at night. We don't spend money on big signs or anything like that because everyone knows we’re here. It’s just how things are done in this part of Nagpur. We try to keep things straightforward. If we have it, it's on the shelf. If we don't, we'll probably have it in the next delivery. It's just a small shop run by real people who live in the area.
