Honest Beverage

We started Honest Beverage because we live right here in Shah Bazar and noticed there wasn't much around this part of Sampat Road for a cold drink. Being right across from Kureshi Hospital means we see a lot of people coming and going all day long. Some people are in a hurry and others just need a minute to sit down. We keep the shop open pretty much all day, from early morning until things quiet down at night. It is not a very big place, just enough room for the crates and the cooling unit. We spend a lot of time cleaning the glass bottles and making sure the gas is right for the fizz. The street outside is always noisy with rickshaws and motorbikes, so we stay busy inside. It’s a regular job for us, nothing fancy about it. We just handle the drinks and talk to the neighbors when they stop by. Sometimes the weather gets really hot and that’s when we have to work twice as hard to keep up. We don't have a big team or anything, just a few of us making sure everything is in order. It’s been a few years now at this location and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the bazaar. If you walk past the hospital, you’ll see our sign. It’s a simple life here, just running a small business on a busy street with people we know.
