Hingna Naidisha Mahila Farmer Producer Company Limited is based in Neri Mankar, specifically at House No. 145/1 in Ward No. 1. This is the home of Devchand Vasant Thuthurkar, and it’s where we get together to handle our business. We are a group of women farmers who decided that working together was better than working alone. In this part of the country, farming is our main way of life, but it can be really lonely and difficult. We spend most of our days out in the sun, tending to the crops and making sure everything grows right. Our company is really just a way for us to share tools, information, and ideas about the market. We don't have any big marketing plans or expensive offices. We keep our records in a simple way and talk about things in plain language. If the crops are doing well, we are happy; if the rain doesn't come, we figure out what to do next. It is all about the practical reality of living off the land in Neri Mankar. Having a central place at Devchand's house makes it easier to organize our group. We aren't trying to change the world; we just want to make sure our local farming community stays strong. It’s hard work, but we are used to it and we prefer doing it this way, together.
