Giridhar Kirana And General Stores

We’ve been here on Bhandara Road for a good while now. It’s a busy spot in Nagpur and the traffic never really seems to let up outside the door. Most mornings start around seven when the milk crates arrive and I have to move things around just to make space. It’s not a huge place, but we try to keep enough of the basics like dal, rice, and soaps so people don't have to go too far. Sometimes the shelves get a bit messy when it’s crowded, especially in the evenings when everyone is heading home. I spend a lot of time just checking what’s running low and calling the suppliers. It’s mostly just me and a bit of help from family now and then. We don't have fancy displays or anything like that. It’s just a regular shop where you can grab what you need for the kitchen. I know most of the people who walk through the door by their names since they live right around the corner. If the power goes out, it gets pretty warm inside, but we just leave the door wide open. There’s always someone stopping by for a pack of biscuits or some loose sugar. That’s just how it goes here every day. It’s simple work, keeping things stocked and making sure the change is right. Bhandara Road is always noisy, but you get used to it after a few years of standing behind this wooden counter.
