Our place is located at W 68 in the MIDC Industrial Area on Hingna Road. If you know Nagpur, you know this part of town is all about factories and workshops. It gets pretty dusty out here with all the trucks moving back and forth, but that is just part of being in an industrial zone. Excel Controlinkage Pvt Ltd has been here for a good amount of time now. We spend most of our hours out on the floor or in the small office area checking on production schedules. The heat in the summer can be a bit much, but we have our routines to get through the day. We make various control components and links that go into bigger machinery. It is straightforward work, really. We arrive early, check the machines, and see what needs to be shipped out by the afternoon. The staff mostly comes from the nearby colonies, so we all know the shortcuts to avoid the main road traffic. Lunch is usually a shared thing in the break room where we talk about anything but work for a bit. There is always something that needs fixing or an order that needs a second look. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us doing what we’ve always done at this address. The building isn't brand new, but it works for what we need. We just keep our heads down and do the work day in and day out every week.
