We are located over at Plot No. 153 on Rameshwari Road. Most folks in Kashi Nagar know the spot by now. Doodh Mahal Fruits And Vegetablesprivate Limited is what we call the business, though it’s really just us here every morning before the sun gets too high. We start early, usually while it’s still a bit cool outside, unloading the crates. Some days the produce looks great, other days we have to spend a lot of time sorting through everything to make sure it’s decent enough to sell. It’s a lot of manual work, honestly. The road gets pretty busy as the day goes on, and the dust from the traffic comes right into the shop area. We’re constantly sweeping the floor. My brother and I handle most of the heavy lifting ourselves. We don't have a big staff or a fancy office setup with computers and air conditioning. It’s just the space here in Kashi Nagar. Sometimes the neighbors stop by just to chat for a minute while we’re stacking the vegetables or moving the fruit boxes around. It’s a plain place, nothing like those big supermarkets you see in the city center. We just focus on getting the daily tasks done. We’ve been at this location for a while and have gotten used to the rhythm of the neighborhood. It’s a bit cramped when a big delivery comes in, but we make it work. Just a regular business trying to stay organized on Rameshwari Road. We try to keep it simple and just do our job.
