Our distribution business is located at B3 in Bhide Colony, over by the Railway Lines area. It’s a residential colony, so it’s quite a peaceful place to work compared to the main market area. We’ve been using this space for a long time to manage our deliveries and keep our stock. Most of the day is spent checking the inventory and making sure the delivery boys have the right addresses and papers. We have a small storage area that is usually packed to the ceiling with boxes and crates. It’s a bit of a puzzle trying to fit everything in when a new shipment arrives from the manufacturers. We don't have any big signs or fancy lighting outside our door. It’s just a regular building in the colony that we work from. We know our neighbors well, and they are used to the occasional delivery van pulling up at odd hours. The Railway Lines area is convenient for getting around the city quickly. We keep our records in a few thick binders on a shelf in the corner. It’s not a high-tech operation, just us and our phone lines. Sometimes the internet is slow, and we have to do things the old-fashioned way with pen and paper. We don’t really spend money on advertising; word of mouth has been enough for us so far. It’s a simple routine of taking orders and getting them out to customers. We usually wrap things up by early evening before it gets too dark.
