Dattafule Farmers Producer Company Limited is found at Plot Number 17 in Ward Number 13 of Kalmeshwar. We use Babulal Sadashiv Ambatkar’s house as our main base. We are a collection of farmers from the local area who realized that we could do more if we worked as a single group. The office is just a simple space with a few desks and some files stacked up. We don't have fancy signs or a big staff. It is usually just a couple of us taking care of the paperwork while the others are out in the fields. Kalmeshwar is a place where people work hard, and we try to reflect that in how we run things. We handle the seeds and the selling for our members, and we try to keep the costs as low as we can. We don't use any corporate jargon or make big promises. We just want to make sure the farming stays sustainable for everyone here. Sometimes the market prices are frustrating and we have to spend a lot of time on the phone trying to find a better deal. It is a lot of practical, everyday work that doesn't get much attention.
