Chinteshwar Kirana Store

People know us at Kirana Bhavan, right there by Maskasad Itwari Chowk. It gets pretty loud outside with the traffic and people shouting, but that is just how things are around here. We have been running Chinteshwar Kirana Store for a while now. It is a simple place with shelves full of stuff people need every day. My day starts early, usually before the sun is fully up, to get everything ready for the morning rush. There is always some dust to wipe off and bags of rice or flour to move around. It is not some fancy supermarket with bright lights and cold air conditioning. It is just a shop. Sometimes the floor is a bit messy after a busy morning, and the ledgers take forever to update at night. We know most of the people who walk in by their names. It is funny how you get used to the rhythm of the chowk. You hear the same tea seller every morning and the same auto rickshaws honking their horns. Being at Itwari Chowk means you are always in the middle of everything. We keep things going, even when it is very hot or when the monsoon rain makes the street muddy. It is hard work, mostly lifting heavy sacks and counting out change for customers, but it is what we do. Nothing more, nothing less. Just a local store trying to keep the shelves stocked for the neighborhood folks who live around here.
