Chimur Farmer Producer Company Limited is out here in Serpur, specifically at Kh. No. 342. We are part of the Nagpur district, but Chimur is where our heart is. It’s a rural area, and our office reflects that. We don’t have a receptionist or a lobby. Usually, if you walk in, you’ll just find one of us sitting at a desk covered in papers or maybe we are out back checking on some equipment. We started this because the farmers in Serpur needed a way to work together. It wasn't about getting rich or making a big name for ourselves. We just saw a need and tried to fill it. The roads out here can be a bit rough during the monsoon, but we still make it in every day. Our address is simple, and so is the way we run things. We don't have a website with fancy photos. We just have our names and this physical location where people know they can find us. It’s a community effort more than a corporate one. We share the work, share the problems, and hopefully share the results when things go well. If you are looking for us, just head toward Chimur and ask for the Serpur post office area. We are right there in the thick of it, doing what needs to be done. It’s been a long journey but we’re still here.
